Description
Color postcard of "The Old Stone Mill" -- erected 1850. First building in Los Gatos, California. Forbes Mill was built in 1854 along the banks of Los Gatos Creek by James Alexander Forbes. The town of Los Gatos later grew up around it. Although the main mill building no longer exists, the smaller annex in front is now a museum. #2863
