Description
Picture of Princeton Elementary School, a two-room structure built ca. 1910, on Conejo Avenue, one mile east of Elm Avenue, Caruthers, Calif. Constructed in Western Stick architectural style. The schoolhouse was abandoned in 1948 and its final disposition is unknown. The Princeton District was created in 1883, and merged with the Caruthers District to form the Caruthers Union District in 1947, which was in turn incorporated into the Caruthers Unified School District.
