Description: Crate label for "Searchlight Brand Valencias," Santiago Orange Growers Association, Orange, California, 1920-1930. Color lithograph label illustrated with ocean scene showing American battleship with searchlight illuminating smaller ship against a gray sky. "California Red Ball" logo is at the right. "SCHMIDT LITHO. CO. L.A." is printed in lower left corner. Santiago Orange Growers Association packing house was located at 350 South Cypress Street and operated in Orange from 1899 through 1965.
