Description
Portrait of Blair family: Sarge Linwood and Vera Blair, with son Walter (age 13). Sarge Blair created the unique "Blair's Rangers" in June 1942. He trained hundreds of boys and girls, some became proud members of the US Army, etc. Sarge died in 1956, Vera continued her work at American Legion Post #467 at 250 Visitacion Ave. Their son, First St. Walter Blair was lost near Frankfurt, Germany in October 1943 at the young age of 20.
