View of West Center Street, ca. 1873, between Los Angeles (later Anaheim Blvd.) and Lemon Street, Anaheim; image shows various buildings, identified left to right as P. Davis and Bro's. Dry Goods and Grocery store, Dr. d'Assenville's office, August Langenberger's two-story adobe store and residence, and the Anaheim Brewery, located at 140 West Center Street, Anaheim's first brewery established by Simon Goldstein and Samuel J. Davis in 1870 (the building was demolished in 1909); several figures are standing along Center Street store fronts; a horse and rider and several horse-drawn carriages are visible along Center Street.
