Description
Unidentified man and young boy in four-wheeled, horse-drawn carriage, posed by the Plaza in Orange, California in 1890. Looking toward the south side of the plaza, in the center is the Hygeian House, Orange's first hotel (1874-1905), the Beach Building is on the left. The original fountain is visible to the right, enclosed by a chain post fence to discourage animals from damaging the surrounding plantings.
