Portrait of Amalie Hammes Frohling, wife of John Frohling, original members of the los Angeles Vineyard Society and the first vintner in Anaheim; Amalie was the first woman to be married in Anaheim in 1859; image shows bust-length view of an elderly Amalie, with greying hair in a bun on the top of her head, and wearing a light color dress with dark collar and lace.
