Description
Tinted postcard image shows an elevated view of the Plaza at Orange, California, during the 1910 Street Fair. A hot-air balloon is at the top of the photograph. Opening on September 22, 1910, it was one of the first street fairs held in Orange County, and between 4,000 and 5,000 people attended each day. In addition to the booths around the Plaza, one block along each side of Glassell Street and Chapman Avenue was lined with booths from local businesses, schools and organizations. Postcard Color 8.5 x 13.5 cm.
