Description
In this photo the man in the blue cap has performed the initial move of a "pega de touros" (bull tackle) and has his arms around the bull's neck wihile the second man helps secure its head. The other six forcados (bull grabbers) of the team are to quickly move to surround the bull and with their combined weight, bring it to a stand still. A main event of a traditional Portuguese-American bloodless bullfight, these men participate in a ritualized test of their courage.
