Description: Thomas Strain and family are on an outing. Thomas was a great teacher. He kept his business interests in Ireland and crossed the Alantic 29 times. He had 6 children. He had his own packing house and did much to promote co-operative marketing of fruit. He came to Placentia in 1882.
