Description
Gathering of the investors in the Cajon Canal at Flume #7 to celebrate the completion of construction. The flume was part of a water system constructed to deliver water diverted from the Santa Ana River near Yorba Linda to agricultural fields in Placentia, Fullerton and Anaheim. The Cajon Canal was 15 miles long and consisted of an earthen ditch , cemented ditch, tunnels, a syphon, fills and flumes. Investors pictures pictured included Richard Melrose, F.C.Spencer, William McFadden, Clarence McFadden, Ed Ameriage, Max Nebeling, Mr. Ryan, William Crowther, H.A. Dickel, N. F. Steadman, Henery Kuchel, Fritz Ruhman, David Yorba, Phillip Yorba, R. Marscamp and Mr Schanez(sp).
