Description
Rex Parks (1898-1971) overlooks Chapman Avenue and First Christian Church, Orange, California, 1950. Image shows Rex Parks looking east is sitting on the edge of the roof of a structure at corner of Chapman Avenue and Grand. Visible behind Rex is the First Christian Church, with a Union 76 Service Station (owned by Rex Parks) partially visible in the lower left corner and a Hancock Service Station in lower right corner. A water tower is visible in background left. Rex Parks was a councilman, volunteer fireman, and mayor (1958-1960) of Orange. [See also OPL718]
