Accession number: P726 Oval portrait of Gustav Davis, who joined his brother Phil in Anaheim in 1870; in 1878 they founded the grocery and hardware business of P.Davis and Brother; image shows frontal bust view of the sitter, with moustache, wearing a dark jacket and vest, white shirt, and striped tie.
