Description
Accession number: P938 A group of 10 men sitting on a bench along side of an unidentified street in Anaheim. The men are wearing three piece suits, white shirts, ties and hats. All have a lapel pin on their suit and five men are wearing their medals. From left to right: Rev. Abraham B. Markle, Lawson W. Spielman, Unidentified, Mr. Fowler, Unidentifed (has umbrella in front of him), Louis (Louie) Everett Miller, Undentified, John W. Duckworth, Unidentified, In center back is Mr. Carver (father of Mrs. Alice Carver Booth). Standing at the far left, behind the men on the bench are two soldiers in uniform. Other men, boys and children line the street. Floats can be seen in the street (movement causes the floats to be blurred in the photograph.). On the street opposite of the bench, four houses are visiable. Two trees are along the sidewalk. An early day automobile is parked along the curb shown in the far right of the photograph.
