Image shows about twenty people by a water drilling rig and equipment, with frame buildings in the background. Some of the people around the rig were identified by Bessie Renner Frey (Mrs. Walter). Left to right: Joe Barter (he owned a water rig and dug wells in Orange County, California), Edith (Mother of Bessie Renner Frey), Meta (Mother of Anna M. Pratt), Harry Barter, seated at right is Herman Stock. Others are all cousins of Bessie Renner Frey.
