Students of Cooper Medical College, class of 1912. San Quentin Prison Doctor Leo L. Stanley is pictured, standing, sixth from the right, with bowtie. Photograph from the Dr. Leo L. Stanley Collection. Dr. Stanley was the prison doctor at San Quentin Prison, 1913-1951. He also served on the board of the Marin Municipal Water District; was an author and columnist; served as a ships doctor on the Matson luxery liners; and was an accomplished equestrian.
