Accession number: P824 Joseph Backs building and residence, located at 125 and 119 respectively on west side of North Los Angeles Street, Anaheim; image shows two-story brick building, housing the Backs undertaking and furniture business, A.U.W.C. [Anaheim Union Water Company], Germania Halle saloon, and other businesses, with cornice inscribed "J. BACKS"; four men standing on sidewalk in front of building, and five men visible from second-story businesses' open windows; Backs two-story residence visible at left, with six members of Backs family standing on sidewalk in front of house, and a young child sitting on a rocking horse; coal oil street lamp visible at far left.
