Description
The image is identified with hand lettering on the bottom front as "Behrmans Collection" and "Deaf and Dumb Asylum, Berkeley, CAL. 1877." This facility later became the California School for the Deaf, and today is the site of the Clark Kerr Campus (a University of California housing facility). The location is Warring Street between Dwight Way and Derby Street.
