1930s Crate label, "Mohawk Brand, Grown and packed by Santiago Orange Growers Assn., orange, Orange Co., California." Color lithograph label illustrated with a Mohawk leaning into a framed mountain scene, a royal blue background is behind the lettering, "Valencias" [oranges] on the upper right corner. Santiago Orange Growers Assn. packing house operated from 1899 through 1965.
