Title
Cuba - Province of Havana - Havana, capitol and first port city of Cuba: A policeman directs traffic with a modern traffic light at an important junction in the downtown district of the city - the corner Neptuno and Zulueto. Zulueto (also known as Agramonte) is the street down which the street car is coming and Neptuno the cross street from which the automobile (a new American Car) has just emerged. This picture had to be made at the noonday period of lull when everything slows down for about an hour and a half. The rest of the day until late at night this corner is so crowded with cars, buses, streetcars, trucks, pedestrians as to make a photograph a physical impossibility. The parque central begins in front of the building at the right and the building on the left is the Plaza Hotel
