Description
CATHERINE MURRAY. Following the death of Michael Murray's first wife, Amelia, in 1862, he married Catherine Benson, a native of Ireland who was born in San Francisco in 1831. Catherine and Michael's first son, Thomas F. Murray, was born in San Francisco in 1866. They had three other children over the next five years: Isabel, Daniel, and Madeline. Catherine died in San Francisco in 1911 at the age of 80. Services were held for her at St. Raymond's Church. (Courtesy Murray Family.)
