Image shows view looking north at construction of Malaga Cove School, located at 385 Via Almar in Malaga Cove. Malaga Cove School opened on April 5, 1926. Visible in foreground are workmen laying the large gas main along Granvia La Costa (later Palos Verdes Drive West.) Visible in background are mule teams harnessed to drags, clearing the landscape for road construction. In distance is Santa Monica Bay and coastline of Torrance and Redondo Beach.
