Description
The site of this school was one full block bounded by Sixth and Seventh Streets and E and F Avenues. The school faced east on E Avenue. $80,000 was allotted for the schools construction. It was considered state of the art at the time of its competition in 1913 with such modern amenities as a moving picture theatre, a cooking department and an intercommunicating interior telephone system in every room.
