Title from item. Stamp on back: "Commercial Studios, photographers: M. L. Cohen Co. moved to our new studios, 1116 Franklin Street, Ground Floor, Off 12th Street". The photograph depicts the Elks' Club building at 20th St. and Broadway (southeast corner) after its conversion into the Hotel Carillon. The flagship store of Davidson & Licht Jewelry Co. occupies the ground floor. The building was completed in 1926 and demolished for the corporate headquarters of World Savings Bank & its parent company, Golden West Financial Corp.
