Description
Men forming a human pyramid in Hewes Park, El Modena, California, at the corner of Esplanade and La Veta Avenue, California. Imaeg shows view of nine men posed for group portrait in the park. The park was built in 1905 by David Hewes (1822-1915), capitalist, philanthropist and land developer, who hired Robert G. Fraser to design the park, which became a popular destination for Orange residents through the 1940s.
