Description
Black and white photograph of a small group of children performing situps while spectators watch. This activity was one of the contests held during the "Mission Viejo Days" event. The photograph was taken at the feet of the children doing situps, therefore the teens and children who are holding their feet are more visible than the children actually performing the situps. The activity is in front of a store of a shopping center. The children doing the situps are on mats in the parking lot next to the sidewalk that runs next to the store. The spectators are men, women, teens, and children who are sitting or standing on the sidewalk. The banner above the people reads, "Mission Viejo Days, Sept. 25-26." On the back of the photograph is the stamp "Tim Perior Photography, 115 S. Orange Street, Orange, California 92666, 714 538-4607."
