Stroup was the proprietor; image shows large room with refrigerated, glass counters displaying different types of meat around three sides; also visible are three scales on the countertops; a clock reading "B. HARTFIELD / JEWELER / AND / OPTICIAN" on column behind counter, and a drinking fountain on the side of the central column.
