One construction worker appears to build on of the wooden chutes used to convey concrete. Another man is visible by the large machine which is probably a cement mixer. The Old Don Pedro Dam was designed and constructed on the Tuolumne River, northeast of Turlock, California. The project began in 1921 and was completed in 1923. Almost 300,000 cubic yards of concrete was used to build the dam and spillway.
