Description
William McFadden, patriach of second family to move to Placentia after Daniel Kraemer. He was the first Superintendent of Schools of Orange County. He taught Spanish speaking children in English. His duty was to pay the teaching staff by riding the circuit of schools with pay in a leather pouch on the saddle of the horse.
