Description
Barrios residence located at 235 East Maple Avenue, Orange, California, 2003. Image shows front view of Hip Roof Cottage which was constructed in 1906 by Charles Baker (d. 1919), a bee rancher known as "Bee Keeper Baker." House has a one-and-one half story clapboard house with multi-gable and hip roof, and a full wrap-around porch surrounded by wide clapboard piers. The current owners added on to the north end of the house in 1986, in a manner that matched the original structure. House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
