Color slide of the Olympic flag and governmental flags displayed during the Cycling Road Race of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. The Cycling Road Race event took place in Mission Viejo, California. There are five flags in the photograph: the Olympic flag, the California flag, the United States flag, the County of Orange, California flag, and the Mission Viejo, California flag. Each flag is on a separate flagpole, so they are displayed horizontally to one another. They are also extended in the breeze so that their emblems are very visible. The background to the flags is blue sky on the left of the photograph and a green tree on the right side. At the top of the slide is a label with "84-010, Frame 008" typed on it. At the bottom of the slide is written "camjl 237" in pencil and, in red typescript, "23, Jul84H9."
