Everson Hall, Social Living Room, Home Economics Building. The Social Living Room in the new Home Economics Building on the Davis campus of the University of California. It is designed as a laboratory where students can apply many of the principles learned in their home economics courses. Here they learn proper serving methods for various sizes of social groups. Furnishings were specially selected to show examples of good design in contemporary styles. Cabinets have been built into the walls for storage. Doors to the right open onto a patio
