Description
Black and white aerial photograph of houses under construction. The houses belong to the Monterey Homes development in Mission Viejo, California. The exterior construction of the houses are at various degrees of completion. Some of them are still at the wood-frame stage while others have scaffolding at their sides. The construction lot is graded dirt with no landscaping or indigenous trees. There appears to be more graded land in the background of the photograph. Monterey Homes are located at the south end of Chrisanta. The photograph is one of four photographs on a proof sheet. Stamped on the back of the proof sheet is "Garth Chandler Commercial Photography, 883 West 20th Street, Costa Mesa, California, Telephone: 646-3071." "July 1966" is written in pencil on the back of the sheet.
