Description
E. T. Parker's Packing House, Orange, California, ca. 1903. Image shows view looking northwest towards packing house, opposite the Santa Fe Depot, which was located at 184 N. Atchison Street in Orange. Railway tracks and cars are visible in front of packing house. Photograph appeared in the July 1903 "Orange Post" newspaper as part of a promotional article. The fruit packing house was 130 x 75 feet, with an additional platform of 100 x 30 feet. E. T. Parker offered packing, shipping and marketing services, and was also the manager for the California Citrus Union.
