Orange Union High School, Orange, California, 1905. Image shows view looking southwest of students and faculty posed on the steps of the first building (now Wilkenson Hall of Chapman University) of Orange Union High School, September 1905. The first building for the new campus was completed in the summer and this would be the first semester at this location. The building's architect was C. B. Bradshaw with R.J. Noble as contractor. The school first opened on September 21, 1903, using the Dobner Block as a temporary location. The original photograph is from the Alfred Higgins collection, who served as teacher and vice principle of Orange Union High School.) Photographic print B&w 13 x 18 cm.
