Description: Front of the Orange Public Library, 407 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, California, ca.1930. The Carnegie Library, designed by architect Cornelius B. Bradshaw (d. 1932), opened in 1908 and was demolished in 1961. Colored postcard image shows facade of the classical revival structure, with front steps flanked by lamp posts and "PUBLIC LIBRARY" over entranceway. Two large trees and a ball streetlamp are visible in foreground.
