Description
HANSEN BROTHERS GARAGE, c. 1925. The Dublin Garage, formerly owned by J. S. Gill, is now run by the Hansen brothers. The man posing on the left is Arthur Hansen. Standing next to him is Felix Ferrero. Dressed in the style of the times, Felix's wife, Hazel, and daughter were freer to express themselves through fashion and hairstyles during the flapper era. A dream for any motorist today, the price of gasoline listed just below the Standard Oil Products sign is 21 cents per gallon. (Courtesy Hansen family.)
