Description
Toriumi describes her arrival at the Heart Mountain camp in Wyoming. She details many hardships and frustrations such as the extreme weather, food shortages, discrimination for jobs, incompetent administrators, and a prejudiced head of education. She also notes the difficulty in establishing religious activities without facilities.
