A woman wearing a large hat standing behind the guard rail next to a telescope on the East Peak of Mount Tamalpais surveying the panoramic view. Tamalpais locator remnants of concrete and pipe still visible to the right of the trail to Gardner Lookout. The marine exchange was built on the peak of Mount Tamalpais as an observation station between 1880 and 1890.
