Lomita Park Volunteer Fire Department, with Santa Claus atop the fire engine, ca. 1948.The Department sponsored an annual drive to provide children in the community with Christmas presents. In the photograph are (from L to R): John Ghigo, Rudy Starhia, Ray Tiffany, Charles Schuppe, Loyal Sutton, Harry Hayden. Gift of Harper Petersen.
