Charles P. Taft home, Orange, California, ca. 1890. Image shows view of two-story wood-frame home, with a water tank visible at far left, and avocado trees in the yard. Ornamental woodwork decorates the top edge of the porch roof. Charles P. Taft was a noted local grower of loquats and avocados, and developed the Taft avocado.
