Description
A view of the Brand mansion’s Drawing Room, also referred to as the Parlor, Sitting Room, or Music Room. The walls are decorated in a silk, flower-patterned wall covering. A fireplace with prima vera wood surround is located on the east wall and consists of an entablature supported on both ends by pairs of Corinthian columns. The fireplace box is surrounded by ceramic tiles. A beveled oval mirror is mounted above the mantel, and carved panels ornament the spandrels. A brass pendant light fixture hangs from the center of the ceiling and is composed of a globe with six arms facing up and six arms curving down.
