Accession number: P11174 View of the Union Brewing Company, located at 1030 West Broadway, William E. Alexander president and manager; the building was built circa 1888 by Friedrich Conrad and named the Anaheim Brewery; Anton Hessel of Los Angeles purchased it in 1904 and the name changed to Union Brewing Co.; image shows front facade of two-story, red brick building, with first floor, front facade only stuccoed; two arched doorways, one with five people standing inside, and an automobile are visible outside; sign painted in three sections across the front facade, between the two stories, reads "UNION BREWING COMPANY."
