Portrait of Richard LaSalle Coons, who came to Anaheim with the Gardiner (Gardner)-Keener group (100 men, women and children) in 1869 from Caldwell County, Texas, married Mary Ella Gardiner (Gardner); image shows half-length view of Mr. Coons with a moustache, wearing a three peice suit, with a pin in the lapel, white shirt and a window pane design tie. Mr. Coons if the father of Rector LaSalle Coons, Anaheim City Councilman and Mayor.
