Description
Color slide of a referee and two basketball players consulting on a basketball court. The photograph was taken during the basketball event at the Challenge of the Sexes television program which took place in Mission Viejo, California in 1976. There is one female player; she is wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. The other player is male, and he is wearing a red shirt and white shorts. Both of the players are holding a basketball as they look at the referee who appears to be explaining something. There are spectators in the background watching the event. The frame of the slide has a label that reads, "76-019, Frame 016." Aforementioned label is covering the photographer's address. The following is the information that is not covered by the label: "Spectra-Action, 18037 Midwest, St. Lou. (343)." "Spectra-Action by Lewis Portnoy" is also on the slide frame.
