Corner view of the Gerrard Bros. & Hanson Grocery Store, located at 249 East Center Street (now Lincoln Ave.) at North Emily Street, Anaheim; opened in 1923, before the partnership incorporated as the Alpha Beta Markets, this was store number 12; unidentified members of the Hanson family are standing in front of the store; 1924 directory lists Lars Hanson as manager; image shows two-story brick building with market on first floor, with signs above the entrance and display windows reading "GERRARD BROS. & HANSON / THE BEST FOR LESS'"; also visible is an automobile parked by curb at left, five-lamp street light and fire hydrant at the corner.
