Description
A photograph of six firefighters identified as Engine Company 1, located at Ninth and Addison Streets, with a Knox Gasoline Engine (bought in 1912). This station first opened in 1907. The Knox Gasoline Engine was one of the first motorized fire apparatus in Berkeley.
