Black and white photograph of a banner tied between two tall posts on a street corner that is welcoming home the Mission Viejo Olympic swimmers from the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. The banner reads "Welcome Home Mission Viejo Olympians" in the center; the left side of the banner lists the names "Shirley Babashoff, Nicole Kramer, Casey Converse," and the right side lists "Brian Goodell, Maryanne Graham, Marcia Morey." Behind the banner is a flagpole flying the '76 bicentennial flag, and below the banner is a sign that reads "Happy Birthday America, From the Community of Mission Viejo." The street corner on which the above are displayed consists of lawn and four trees with a 5-6 foot white brick wall behind the trees. On the back of the photograph is stamped "The Association, 711-A #12 17th Street, Costa Mesa, 92626, (714) 645-3840."
