City of Santa Ana Tournament of Roses Rose Parade "Remembering" float for Santa Ana, 1949. "Winning the President's trophy was Santa Ana's entry entitled 'Remembering' in keeping with the prade's overall theme of Childhood Memories. This elaborate design included 6,500 roses, 5,000 chrysanthemums, 2,000 carnations, and 2,000 delphiniums." The float consists of a grandfather clock with a man and woman sitting next to it. In front of them is a house, meadow, and childhood toys. A large crowd is visible behind the float.
