Description
Mrs. Lewis Ainsworth (née Persis Bartholomew) sitting in rocker on porch of home, possibly located at 143 S. Shaffer St. in Orange, California, ca. 1900. An unidentified woman sits in a four-wheeled, horse-drawn buggy, with a man standing adjacent. Another gentleman is visible behind the horse, with a young man nearby. Lewis and Persis Ainsworth moved to Orange, California in 1900 with their three children. Lewis Ainsworth married Persis Bartholomew April 24, 1852. A successful businessman, he died in 1914.
